Project Objectives

Research and develop

Research and develop procedures for participatory action involving stakeholders in order to co-construct for landscape management and planning through means of citizen science, EO, Artificial Intelligence and Public participation GIS.

Promote knowledge and expertise exchange of all the partners to improve innovation and scientific excellence in the field of Landscape Ecology.

TOPIO Second autumn school

TOPIO Second Autumn School

Join us from October 7–10, 2025, at the Landscape Observatory of Chamusca, Portugal, for the Second TOPIO Autumn School, Specialized Lecture, and Workshop. Organized by Instituto Superior Técnico – University of Lisbon and Casal do Gavião do Meio, the program will explore theories and practices of landscape ecology, the role of local landscape observatories, and methods for involving communities in landscape change. Sessions will include topical lectures, field visits, and participatory workshops.
